Quatern, formed in 2010, grew out of the longstanding relationship in the logging industry between Western Forest Products (WFN) and Quatsino First Nation (QFN). It provides a structure to explore profitable endeavours and delivers benefits to both parties. It also has the ability to support community projects and economic development initiatives. The business has had five successive profitable harvest programs and targets between 40,000 and 60,000 cubic metres of logs per year.
