The Polygon Award in First Nations Art celebrates artistic excellence in both traditional, contemporary or media art. It is designed for artists from BC First Nations who have demonstrated a commitment to their art practice, accumulated a body of work and are recognized in their communities as artists.

The Applied Art + Design (AAD) award program celebrates British Columbians who excel in creating functional art. Their creative and innovative work enhances day-to-day life while contributing directly to the cultural and economic fabric of the province.

BC Reconciliation Award

The BC Reconciliation Award is a partnership between the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, and the BC Achievement Foundation, and recognizes individuals, groups and organizations who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, respect, and commitment to furthering reconciliation or inspired others to continue reconciliation efforts. The award ceremony recognizing the 2023 recipients will take place at Government House in Victoria in the new year.

Spring 2024, Government House, Victoria

The Community Award program celebrates British Columbians who go above and beyond in their dedication and service to others. Awardees are recognized at a formal ceremony held in Victoria at Government House. The Lieutenant Governor and a representative of the BC Achievement Foundation are invited to present the awardees with the BC Achievement medallion and lapel pin designed by renowned artist Robert Davidson, OC, OBC.
