The annual AAD Award recognizes the creative excellence and innovative entrepreneurship of artists working in British Columbia whose work has a practical or functional application. Selection of awardees is based on the nomination package submitted (Artist’s Statement,  Artist’s CV/Resumé, Images and Visual List) and the criteria of creativity, originality, innovative approach and aesthetics.

The British Columbia Reconciliation Award recognizes individuals, groups and organizations who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, respect, and commitment to furthering Truth and Reconciliation in the Province of British Columbia; and/or inspired others to do so. Selection of Awardees is based on the testimonial letters and additional materials submitted.
