TNDC was established in 1985 to enable the Nation to participate in the economic activities and development occurring within Tahltan traditional territory. It became the largest native-owned and operated heavy construction company in Western Canada by 1991. Today it is a multi-million dollar corporation and has earned an excellent reputation working on hundreds of projects. Over the years, TNDC has established more than 30 partnerships with industry experts to support all aspects of resource development projects.
