Thirty-Six British Columbians receive 2004 BC Community Achievement Awards
The Honourable Iona Campagolo, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia and the Honourable Gordon Campbell, Premier of British Columbia presented the recipients with this prestigious award for their spirit, dedication, imagination and contribution to their communities.
"These thirty-six individuals exemplify the characteristics and accomplishments of British Columbians who have helped shape our
province into what it is today," said Premier Campbell. "They are citizens from all over the province whose contributions, leadership and inspiration have helped to make British Columbia the greatest province in Canada."
Each recipient received a medallion and pin designed by well-known B.C. artist Robert Davidson (pictured right).
