Dr. Robert Belton
Dr. Robert Belton is the Dean of the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. A well-known art historian and award-winning teacher, Dr. Belton joined the faculty of the Department of Fine Arts at UBC Okanagan's predecessor, Okanagan University College, in 1992. He has published widely in his areas of interest: art theory, criticism and historiography; and modern and contemporary European and North American art and architecture. He has also acted as a curator, participated as a juror, served as an artist and/or technician and discussed contemporary art issues in public forums not only in British Columbia but also across Canada and overseas.
Mr. Kevin Bent
Kevin Bent is the Publisher and President of Pacific Newspaper Group and oversees CanWest Media's largst daily newspaper operations, The Vancouver Sun and The Province. In addition to over 12 years experience in the media industry, Kevin's background includes experience in various sales and marketing positions in the packaged-goods industry and a business degree from the University of New Brunswick. He is active on the boards of the BC Children's Hospital Foundation and Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children Foundation.

Mr. Peter Eng
Peter Y.L. Eng is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Vancouver-based Allied Holdings Group of companies, which has engaged in the development and ownership of real estate and hotels in Canada since 1968. He is a director of HSBC Bank Canada and HSBC North America Inc. In 1999 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Laws honoris causa by Simon Fraser University. He is the author of a book New Peace County published by the Hong Kong University Press in 1983. Mr. Eng currently serves on the board of several community organizations including Vancouver International Airport Authority, Simon Fraser University and SFU Community Trust.
Ms. Stephanie Forsyth
Stephanie Forsyth is the President of Northwest Community College. Ms. Forsyth is located in Terrace, the main campus of the college which also serves nine communities in BC's northwest region: Stewart, Nass Valley, Prince Rupert, Masset, Queen Charlotte City, Hazelton, Smithers, Houston and Kitimat.
Ms. Carol Henriquez
Carol Henriquez is the Co-Founder and former Executive Director of Vancouver's Arts Umbrella, a thriving visual and performing arts institute formed to provide accessible arts education to all children. Carol developed programs in conjunction with other arts organizations and Arts Umbrella itself has become a model for other institutions around North America. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba, diplomas in Fine Arts from Langara College and the Vancouver School of Art (now the Emily Carr Institute) and is an accomplished sculptor. Carol Henriquez is a member of the Order of Canada and has received numerous awards and honours including the Commemorative Governor General's Award and the YWCA Women of Distinction Award.

Ms. Wendy John
Wendy John has served as a member of council for the Musqueam Indian Band, Chief of Musqueam First Nation, Regional Chief (British Columbia) for the Assembly of First Nations and the Associate Regional Director-General, Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, British Columbia Region. Ms. John has served as a Lay Bencher of the Law Society of British Columbia; as a Board Member of the Canadian Lands Company Limited; as one of Canada's Commissioners of the Pacific Salmon Commission as well as other numerous boards and commissions. In 2001, she received the Vancouver YWCA Women of Distinction Award for social action, and an Honorary Doctor of Law from Royal Roads University in Victoria, B.C.
Mr. C. T. (Manny) Jules
Manny Jules is a distinguished First Nations leader from Kamloops where he served as Chief for 16 years. He was instrumental in establishing the First Nations property tax authority which led to the creation in 1989 of the Indian Taxation Advisory Board. Manny was appointed its first chairperson and was twice reappointed. Jules retired as chief of the band and from ITAB to lead the drive to establish the First Nations Fiscal Institutions Initiative. He has been recognized with Honorary degrees in 2006 from Thompson Rivers University and UBC in 1997.
Ms. Fanny Kiefer
Named one of the 25 most influential women in Canada by Chatelaine magazine, Fanny Kiefer is the host of Studio 4 on Shaw TV. She began her award-winning career in broadcasting in Vancouver 25 years ago as a researcher/producer at CJOR Radio. Ms. Kiefer has worked in private radio, public radio and television, and Internet broadcasting, interviewing a diverse range of guests in the fields of arts, humanities, politics, entertainment and sports.
Mr. Ron Lou-Poy
Ron Lou-Poy is the senior partner of Crease Harman & Company in Victoria. A third-generation Victorian, Mr. Lou-Poy is the Chancellor of the University of Victoria. An active member of the Victoria community, Mr. Lou-Poy has been honoured by the City of Victoria for his many contributions including in the areas of fundraising and leadership in the McPherson Foundation, the Victoria Police Board, the Victoria Chinese community, and the Royal British Columbia Museum. He is the recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal, honorary doctorate of laws degree from the University of Victoria and the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch©s inaugural community service award. Mr. Lou-Poy was made a member of the Order of Canada in 2003.
Mr. G. Scott McIntyre
Scott McIntyre is a founding partner and current CEO of Vancouver publishing Group Douglas & McIntyre. Mr. McIntyre is an active member of the publishing community in Canada and has served as Chair of the Association of Book Publishers of British Columbia and on the governing council of the Association of Canadian Publishers. He is a member of the Cultural Industries Sectoral Advisory Group on International Trade and a founding member of the Bill Reid Foundation. Scott McIntyre is a member of the Order of Canada and has received an honourary doctorate of laws degree from Simon Fraser University.
Mr. Keith Mitchell, Q.C., Chair
Keith Mitchell, Q.C. is managing partner of the law firm Farris, Vaughn, Wills & Murphy in Vancouver. Called to the Bar in 1972, Mr. Mitchell has built a diversified practice in trade, corporate, commercial and administrative law and, in 2003, was named as one of the leading Canadian trade lawyers. Mr. Mitchell is active in the community and has served on numerous boards including the Expo 86 Corporation, Emily Carr College of Art and Design and the Vancouver International Airport Authority. Mr. Mitchell currently serves as a director of the Lester B. College of the Pacific and of the Asia Pacific Foundation.
Max Wyman, OC
Max Wyman has written a number of books on the arts in Canada, is a former member of the board of the Canada Council for the Arts, and in 2006 completed four years as President of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO. He has taught critical writing and dance history in Canada and Europe, and lectures and consults widely on public arts policy. He was made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2001, and received an honorary Doctor of Letters degree from Simon Fraser University in 2003.
